Minako Tsuda’s timeless leather goods

Minako is a japanese fashion designer working with leather as a primary material & specializing in bags. Very special bags. She studied in the UK at the London College of Fashion and worked with some of the best leather experts in Spain. When she decided it was time to start going her own way and build a brand to commercialize her craft she needed an identity system that would allow her to leverage every step of the process, accommodate different collections and visual concepts along with a clean aesthetic that reinforced the idea of handcrafted luxury.

Along a clean masculine aesthetic, Minako wanted to refer her magic numebers, 3, 7 & 5. Since she used before those numbers along a N symbol that she identified with herself, multiplying the symbol and playing with those variations seemed a way of taking a step further into developing that concept into a much more powerful visual objects. The logo and its negative space would play a main role in defining packaging and marks, while the name would be de distinctive feature with the slogan “fine leather craftsmanship”.

A mix of classic and modern while making a statement. Clean lines, hard corners & an impeccable finish.
