Deloitte Event Template
Deloitte Greater China when acquiring the EventBank Platform to manage its 200+ events in Mainland China, Macau, HongKong, and Taiwan wanted to leverage its contact database in an engagement-based CRM. EventBank offers event management with easy-to-use, replicate and customize templates. Such a big corporation needed an on-brand template that would make it easy for its different teams across divisions – marketing, design & sales – to utilize the platform not worrying about branding compliance.
Working closely with their Design Director, Events CMO and other stakeholders, and acting as Lead Designer together with our Product Director at EventBank we developed a new template. The scope was to adapt the EventBank platform and all its customizable elements, registration forms, widgets or sections inside the template into a branded framework for Deloitte.
As it was a client request, User Research, was somehow easy, as the user personas were well defined by the organization scheme.
In this case, we separated interviewed:
📈Marketing Team, which most concerns were the ease of use and the ability to reproduce the same event for multiple venues, as the organization usually works by a series of events across the territory.
📅Event Organizers, who were the front-end users of the templates, filling up the information and making changes following schedule updates.
🖍️Design Team, who wanted to ensure their team didn’t have to spend time creating and ensuring quality and brand compliance for the event marketing and could focus on other tasks.
🕹️Attendees, was the end-user in Deloitte’s extensive contact database who would be receiving marketing campaigns and had to understand all the information, quickly to make a decision in order to join or not. Events were free, so there was no purchase intention analyzed here. Most of them made decisions based on time & availability.
After understanding the scope and the stakeholders’ expectations & consulting with the Design Team the brand guidelines of Deloitte regarding digital applications we proceed to wireframe the template and its elements.
